Fix Internet Explorer Not Responding Error

Problem :

I have found that after several weeks of constant "not responding" messages while doing a search function on any of the three major search engines - when I made Google Chrome my default browser that all problems ceased.

But silly me...I continued to click on the "e" on my desktop to access the internet and that was going back to internet Explorer as the browser so I deleted all the "e" shortcuts from the desktop, task bars, etc and just click on the Google icon to access the internet and all worked out perfectly. I know that I didn't have to "delete" the "e" shortcuts but why leave clutter on the desktop if I won't be using them anymore.

Fix Printer Spooler Error

Problem :

Trying to share a printer on my XP PC with a Windows 7 laptop on our network - I am able to print a test page from the laptop, but when I try to print an e-mail, I get "Spooler Subsystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close." The only way I can clear it is to restart my PC.

Solution :

Check the following steps to fix printer spooler error :

Go to Start / Run and type in "services.msc" without quotation marks, then press Enter or click OK.

In the window that opens (Services) look for "Print Spooler" on the right

Right-click "Print Spooler" and select "Properties".

Click on the "Recovery" tab and change all 3 drop-down boxes to "Restart The Service".

Make sure the 2 text boxes underneath say "1" in them.

Click Ok until you are back at the Services window, close it and you're good to go.

Go back into the properties of the "Print Spooler" tab and be sure to click Start to restart the Print Spooler service and it will restart the service immediately.

The Print spooler depends on the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service. Is this service disabled? Go to services.msc look for RPC. Check state: Automatic

notice that this copy of windows 7: is AKA (windows 7 ultimate) any and all help apprecatied, thank you

Solution :

You may also face the Black Screen on your PC after you have logged on to your computer.

In this case the only thing that you might find is the My Computer Explorer Window.

To fix this problem, restart the computer and wait till the black screen is visible.

After verifying that the PC is connected with the net press simultaneously the CTRL, ALT, and DEL key.

Now click the Application Tab on the Task Manager and then on the New Task.

Here you have to type the command “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” along with the website name within “ ” from where you want to download the iexplorer.exe files.

Finally click “Run” and the program will be downloaded which will fix the problem and restart the computer.

Fix Error in Installing Office 2010

Problem :

Cannot install Office 2010. Side by side configuration error? Check Application Event Log? Took it to Staples, they couldn't figure it out. Using OpenOffice to write documents. Maybe I should say can install it vut can't get into word, access, power point...It's Office trial, 6 months

Solution :

If you have installed previous version of Office, or Office 2010 trial, you need completely uninstall Office (program and registry key) before install Office 2010.

You can refer to this KB article, and follow these steps to uninstall Office

Youtube Videos Keep Crashing on Internet Browsers

Problem :

Every time I try to watch a youtube video, it crashes my google chrome, I tried using Safari, but it did exactly the same thing, it freezes for a while, and then it comes up with shockwave player is unresponsive. i've done everything all the other questions suggested, i restarted, i cleared my cache and i made sure i had the latest version of shockwave, is there any other possible reason why this is happening???????

Solution :

It is possible that you may face the problem of YouTube crash due to memory leak in the web browser. The browser will get memory leak issues due to the web cache or history increased in great amount. The simultaneous opening of large number of videos in YouTube fills up the browser cache. You can clear the browser cache and web history to fix the issue. It requires much space for playing YouTube video. You can access the web history from the menu bar of browser and can remove these entries. It is also possible to use some history removal tools for this purpose.

Fix HP Network Printer Offline Error

Problem :

I have an HP J6480 all-in-one printer that is connected to a wireless network.  The printer is indicating offline all the time recently.   It was sporatic before and I could get it online by powering off and then on.  I am having no luck getting it back online in my wireless system.  it will print when coneected directly to my laptop.  Any suggestions?

Solution :

Auto continue provides two settings, off and on (the default).

If the printer is on a network, it should probably be set to ‘On‘.

The on setting causes the message which appears on the printer control panel display, and the printer goes offline for ten seconds, before returning online if an error occurs that prevents printing.

The ‘Off‘ setting causes the messages to remain on the printer control panel display, and the printer to remain offline until ‘Select‘ is pressed, if an error occurs that prevents printing.
